I am thrilled to announce the arrival of my sweet baby boy. We had a safe and healthy delivery on November 24, 2009, and our little one is big and strong. Here's my precious baby...

And here he is with his big brother, my sweet and rambunctious 2-year-old...

And here are a couple shots of my big boy...I hadn't taken photos of him in ages since I was on bed rest for those last couple months...

Important Fall Booking Updates! - Vignettes Photography, Tucson's on location photographer for babies, children, and families

A quick update on fall sessions - I am now full and no longer taking any bookings through the rest of 2009. For those of you with gift certificates, I am adding on a 6 month extension to the expiration date due to my extended break this winter with the expected arrival of our second baby boy! I do not have a definite date yet when I will begin taking bookings again, but I am suspecting it will be in the early spring of 2010. I will keep this blog updated in the meantime and will let you all know when sessions are opened again! Plan for another Spring Mini Session Day sometime in March or April, and keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming debut of my new and improved website!

Here's to a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's celebration to all of my beautiful clients! And here's to a full-term healthy baby boy Swingle whom I hope to introduce you all to in the near future!

Upcoming Fall Mini Sessions! - Vignettes Photography, Tucson's on-location children's photographer

Can you believe that school has already started, and fall is on its way?! I can hardly wait...I did a few scrapbook pages the other day with photos from last fall, just because I was so excited thinking about fall's weather changes, crisp colors, warm aromas, and the general festivity that accompanies the season.



I wanted to let you all know that I am planning to continue booking sessions as long as this pregnancy allows me. =) Fall is my busiest time of year for photo sessions, with the cooler weather and everyone gearing up for the holidays. I am planning to hold one fall mini session date, and will book a limited number of regular sessions in the upcoming months. I will post more details soon! Until then, enjoy these photos of some more cute nieces of mine! Their mommy was going for quintessential summertime looks, and I think the grass and the girls' brightly colored clothing really embodied "summertime". Here's to the Tucson sunshine!

Today I wanted to share some summertime photos with you all...my sweet nieces that are full of childhood sparkle, dressed in citrus orange, with their beautiful mommy. These photos just shout ARIZONA SUMMER, if you ask me. =) Enjoy....

I am so excited about my new logo! Isn't it pretty? =) Rachel Lohrman designed it just for me, and is also working on a redesign of my website. The new website (new look, same web address - http://www.vignettesphotography.com/) will have more color, new photos of my beautiful clients, and that pretty logo to match this blog! With the launch of my redesigned website I will be offering a fabulous special, so keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming post with that announcement!

Spring Mini Sessions Are Here!

I am excited to announce Vignettes Photography's first-ever Spring mini sessions!

This year's Spring mini sessions will be Saturday morning, April 25th, and Sunday evening, May 3rd.

Mini sessions are $50 and include:

20 minute session for up to two people*

Private online gallery with 10-15 images

$10 product credit

Your family's name entered into a drawing for a free photo session in 2009 (valued at $75)!

*You may book two back-to-back sessions for up to four people for $75.

Saturday, April 25th we will be at Casas Adobes Plaza on Oracle Road and Ina Road, in the courtyard area by Paradise Bakery. Time slots begin at 7:00am.

Sunday, May 3rd we will be at Steampump Village on Oracle Road, north of First Avenue, in the small grassy park. Time slots begin at 4:30pm.

And, for any new clients that you send my way who book a mini session, you will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card!

What is the difference between a regular session and a mini session? A regular session with VignettesPhotography starts at $75 (for up to four people) and is usually one to two hours, providing more time for clothing changes and a more personalized location. A regular session also includes 30-40 final images in a private online gallery. A mini session is a great way to try out Vignettes Photography for the first time, or for repeat clients to get spend a little less and get a shorter photo session in time for Mother's Day, Father's Day, or simply to show off those cute spring duds you bought for your child!

New! Digital Files of YOUR Session Images! - VignettesPhotography, On Location Tucson Photographer

I am happy to announce that I am now offering full-resolution digital files of individual images from your photo session! Although I have always offered the Keepsake CD with all of the full-resolution images from your session for $200, you can now purchase only your favorite shots for $15 per image. This will make it easier for those of you who want to use your photos for holiday or birthday cards, or if you plan to make several prints of the same image to give out to family and friends. You can also use your digital file for things like your Facebook profile or iPhone.
