Things I {Heart} - Vignettes Photography, Tucson's on-location creative photographer
In celebration of Valentine's Day coming up, I wanted to share some of things that I love. =)
I love breakfast on the weekends when my hubby is home, and we fix something other than cereal or oatmeal.
I love this book, and the author (I'm addicted to her blog), and the friend who got this for me (thanks, Britt!). You must read this. Must. (The Pioneer Woman - Black Heels to Tractor Wheels, by Ree Drummond.)

I love this ceramic mug with its cheery flowers. I'm always a little sad if it's still in the dishwasher come morning time.
I love it when my oldest boy hears my youngest crying in his crib in the morning, or after a nap, and he says, "My baby's awake!" and rushes in to get him. It melts my heart. I wish I could listen to those words forever. =)
I love this picture that an old neighbor (who was my brothers' friends' mom) made for us when we got married. It is our names fashioned into a bride and groom. It hangs in our bedroom, and it is just the sort of unique, romantic thing that I love to look at day after day.
I love this mirror that was handed down to me from my mom. I can remember staring at it often as a little girl and thinking how lovely it was. I always wanted to have it some day. And now I do. =)
I love my new purse. I plan to carry it when my hubs and I go out for Valentine's Day next week.

I love these heart-shaped earrings that were a birthday gift from my mom last year. I also plan to wear these for our Valentine's date, though I wear them all the time just-because.
I love the man I married. He has been my best friend since we were mere kids, and he knows me better than anyone in the world. He makes me smile and laugh like no one else. He makes me feel calm and comfortable and confident and beautiful every time I am in his arms. I am eternally grateful for the most wonderful blessing God could have given me - my hubby.

I am so thrilled to announce that I now have openings for this spring! I am so pleased to have just hired an assistant, which eases up my schedule so that I can offer more availability to you, my wonderful clients! I will now be taking additional bookings for the months of March, April, and May at this time. Please contact me if you would like to book a session for you and/or your family by email (elka@vignettesphotography.com), Facebook (become a fan of Vignettes Photography on Facebook!), phone (520-825-1447), or by leaving a comment here on the blog! I expect session slots to fill quickly (since I had originally filled up the entire spring before the end of 2010!), so contact me soon to ensure you get one of these newly opened slots.
And now, because I love to share photos with you all, here are some sneak peek photos of a fabulous family I had the pleasure of meeting last weekend. (I am looking forward to a senior session for their oldest son next month!)

Color and Clothing Inspiration for your Winter/Spring Sessions - Vignettes Photography, Tucson's on-location portrait photographer
Hey, all! Below are some clothing and color combos I put together as inspiration for you as you think about your winter/spring photo sessions with me. It makes me want to go rummage around in my family's closets.... =)
It's nice to work with a pallet of colors that are cohesive, and layering is THE BEST way to get your family or group looking put-together, instead of just looking random.
Enjoy looking through my ideas! (And always feel free to ask me for suggestions or assistance in putting your family's session wardrobe together - I would love to help!)
There may be more to come...I'm kind of hooked on this....
